A one day state-level workshop on “ HTML5 &CSS3 ” was organized by BCA Department of GVM’s Gopal Govind Poy Raiturcar College of Commerce and Economics, Ponda on Saturday, 13th March, 2014.
HTML5 is most emerging area today in the world. This workshop was organized to aware participants to latest technology which enhance the knowledge of student. There were 59 student participants from different colleges across Goa who attended the workshop with full enthusiasm and interest.
The Expert person for this workshop was Mr. Anay Kamat (Consultant/Co-Founder at PresentSoft Technologies Private ltd)
The programme was inaugurated at 9.30 am at the hands of Shri Nilesh Nayak, CEO of Sapna technologies Panaji Goa . After the small prayer program, Principal P. M. Bhende welcomed all the dignitaries present on the dais, all the delegates and participants. Then the workshop co-ordinator, Shri Sameer Patil, shared with the participants his interest and eagerness in organizing such a workshop. Chief guest, Shri Nilesh Nayak then spoke, learn new technologies and update yourself with technologies as in IT world knowledge is important .
After the inaugural function, Mr. Anay Kamat continued the session on:
- Introduction to HTML5
- Canvas
- Video Embedding
After lunch, the practical session was handled by Mr. Anay Kamat. He gave a hands-on practical demonstration .
The knowledge shared by Mr. Anay Kamat was very useful to the participants and they insisted on conducting such programs in future.
